Data Report of Oceanographic Observations
The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has been carrying out oceanographic and
marine meteorological observations on board research vessels,
at the coastal water temperature observation stations and
by ocean data buoys, for the purposes of prevention and mitigation
of natural disasters, monitoring the oceanic condition
and its variation, and contributing to international cooperation activities.
This Data Report contains the data obtained from the observations made by JMA
in 1998 together with the explanations.
