Preface

This numeric data package was originally published in November of 1987, and included a printed document, and a magnetic tape. The magnetic tape contained five data files: a descriptive file; a fortran retrieval code to read and print the carbonate data from the eastern and western North Pacific CO₂ Dynamics Cruises and from the NORPAX Hawaii-Tahiti Shuttle Experiment; Carbonate data from the CO₂ Dynamics Cruise of the eastern North Pacific; Carbonate data from the CO₂Dynamics Cruise of the western North Pacific; and Carbonate data from the NORPAX Hawaii-Tahiti Shuttle Experiment.

Although this online version of NDP029 varies slightly from the original publication format, it provides comparable information. The data files have not changed, and are provided in their origional format. The major difference is that this electronic version does not include the following literature originally published within the printed documentation:
