The GLODAPv2_2023 Citation

GLODAPv2.2023 is an updated version of the GLODAPv2.2022 data product, which was described in Lauvset et al (2023). Much of the data and procedures are therefore described in that paper. Whenever GLODAPv2.2023 is used three papers should be cited: Lauvset et al (2023), Olsen et al. (2019) and Olsen et al. (2020) and Lauvset et al. (2022) where the latter which describes the procedures for the update.

Whenever GLODAPv2.2023 is used, the following citations must be included:

For data and data product: Lauvset et al (2023) and Lauvset et al. (2022)

For GLODAPv2 mapped product: Lauvset et al., 2016 and Key et al., 2015

Citing the Earth System Science Data publications is essential as this gives the team traceable citations and also enables tracking of GLODAPv2.2022 use. This is important for justifying and sustaining the effort.
