Reference Material Batch 14

This batch was designed to be the basis of a collaborative study in the measurement of total dissolved inorganic carbon. The basic batch (14A) was prepared normally, subsequent batches were prepared by spiking the original batch with a solution of sodium bicarbonate to obtain higher levels of total carbon.

Alkalinity was not measured on this batch.

Batch 14A

     Number of Analyses 4

Batch 14E
Bottled on July 29, 1992

Salinity 33.67

Total Dissolved Inorganic Carbon
     Mean: 2200.85 µmol/kg
     Standard Deviation 2.78 µmol/kg
     Number of Analyses 4

Nutrient levels were not measured on this batch. They are probably comparable to other batches as the water has roughly the same oceanic source.
