The directory contains data summaries and information on the datasets collected by the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) and compiled by the WOCE Data Information Unit (DIU).
THE WOCE DIU was operated by the Data Information Unit at College of Marine Studies, University of Delaware. It was tasked with acting as the central source of information on the status of WOCE, tracking all data collection, processing and archiving activities, and providing the primary interface between the WOCE data system and all users. Funding was provided by the US National Science Foundation.
