Underway data are accessible in near-real-time for UHDAS only. “Incremental” processing of other single-ping data (ENS, HDSS) is currently broken. Truely “incremental” processing of LTA data and pingdata is also broken, but because CODAS processing can be very fast, you can just delete a specific collection of files and process all the files with little overhead.
In most cases, you walk on to a ship and you are presented with a “shipboard ADCP + data acquisition” system over which you have little control. The table below shows the options available to you for underway viewing of ocean currents, and the effort required. Links will take you to instructions.
