TRAVEL TO GOA

By Air:
Goa is well connected to all major destinations in India. The International/Domestic airport known as "Dabolim" is located 33 km away from the venue. Pre-paid taxi service is available from the Airport to NIO. Thereare daily flights from Delhi, Mumbai (Bombay) and Kochi (Cochin) operated by Air India and other domestic airlines. Goa is also connected to Bangalore and Madras on some weekdays. Air India also operates regular flights to the Gulf region while chartered flights from Europe, Canada and America are also available.
By Rail:
Goa is connected by the Konkan Railway and the South CentralRailway. Madgaon Railway Station (40 kms) is the major junction for Goa. However, passengers arriving via Mumbai by the Konkan Railway may get off at Karmali (Old Goa) Railway Station, which is 15 km away from the venue. Taxi, auto-rickshaw and bus service are available at Karmali Railway Station.
By road:
Buses operate between Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Belgaum to Panaji (Panjim)- the Capital Township of Goa. The conference venue is 7 km away from Panaji. There are frequent city shuttle services between Panaji and Dona Paula (NIO). Taxis are also available.
