Global Argo Data Repository

IMPORTANT NOTICES:
— 17 September 2019: NCEI-MD is no longer running an OPeNDAP Hyrax server. Thus, that the following URL: https://data.nodc.noaa.gov/opendap/argo/ no longer functions. However, NCEI-MD does provide a THREDDS service, which can provide a DAP response. There are two THREDDS catalog entries for Argo, (1) one for the GADR data with Argo Climate-Forecast (CF) compliant netCDF including supplemented global attributes for enhanced Attribute Convention for Data Set Discovery (ACDD) compliance: https://data.nodc.noaa.gov/thredds/catalog/argo/gadr/catalog.html and (2) one for the Argo GDAC data, Argo Climate-Forecast (CF) compliant netCDF: https://data.nodc.noaa.gov/thredds/catalog/argo/gdac/catalog.html, respectively.
— 11 June 2018: The Global Argo Data Repository's Argo data are back online.
— 29 April 2014: Argo data made available through the repository is a translation of original Argo with the global attributes section of the Argo NetCDF format ehnanced. The contents of the Argo data including orginal quality flags are preserved. (Read More...)
