Argo Basins Data
The Argo basins data are the Argo individual profile files divided into oceans and further subdivided by years and months of the year. The data files are compressed in the "tgz" ("tarred" and "zipped") format. In each year there are 12 compressed data files, one for each month of the year. Each month has its own index file (inventory table) that lists the path and the file names of all netCDF files, the stations with observations in that month, the sampling date (year, month, and day), location (latitude and longitude, negative numbers are for southern latitudes and western longitudes).Table entries allow you to download the compressed data files and the associated index (inventory table) files by clicking on the link in the appropriate column.
