PACKAGE DESCRIPTION: This dataset includes biological, chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from RYOFU MARU in the North Pacific Ocean from 2012-07-26 to 2012-09-13. These data include CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-11 (CFC-11), CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-12 (CFC-12), CHLOROPHYLL A, DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON (DIC), DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NITRITE, PHAEOPHYTIN, Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY, SIGMA-THETA, TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), WATER TEMPERATURE, nitrate + nitrite content (concentration), pH, phosphate and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and bottle.
These data were collected by Kazuhiro Nemoto of Japan Meteorological Agency and Toshiya Nakano and Hitomi Kamiya of Japan Meteorological Agency; Pollutants Chemical Analysis Center; Marine Division; Global Environment and Marine Department as part of the RY40N data set.
