PACKAGE DESCRIPTION: This dataset includes Surface underway, biological, chemical, meteorological and physical data collected from Drifting Buoy in the Indian Ocean, South Atlantic Ocean, South Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea from 2001-11-20 to 2007-05-08 and retrieved during cruise CARI20011120. These data include AIR TEMPERATURE, BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, FLUORESCENCE, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, SALINITY, SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE and WIND SPEED. The instruments used to collect these data include Barometric pressure sensor, Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer, Micro-porous membrane equilibrator for discrete carbon dioxide measurement and thermosalinographs. These data were collected by Jacqueline Boutin and L. Merlivat of Universite Pierre et Marie Curie; Institut Pierre Simon Laplace; Laboratoire D'Oceanographie et du Climat: Experimentations et Approches Numeriques as part of the CARIOCA_Drifters data set.
