PACKAGE DESCRIPTION: This dataset includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from NATHANIEL B. PALMER in the South Pacific Ocean from 1997-04-04 to 1997-05-12 and retrieved during cruise NBP-97-3 and Ross_Sea_320619970404. These data include ALKALINITY, AMMONIUM, DELTA CARBON-13, DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NITRATE, NITRITE, PARTICULATE ORGANIC CARBON, PARTICULATE ORGANIC NITROGEN, PHOSPHATE, Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY, SILICATE, WATER TEMPERATURE and pH. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and bottle. These data were collected by H Ducklow of Columbia University; Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and Frank J.
