PACKAGE DESCRIPTION: This dataset includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from the R/V Hesperides cruise FICARAM_XV (EXPOCODE 29HE20130320) along the CLIVAR Repeat Section A17 in the Atlantic Ocean from 2013-03-20 to 2013-05-22. These data include total alkalinity, pH on total scale, temperature, salinity and nutrients. The instruments used to collect these data include alkalinity titrator, CTD, spectrophotometer for pH measurement and Niskin bottles. These data were collected by Fiz Pérez and Aida F. Ríos of Instituto de Investigaciones Marinas de Vigo as part of the CLIVAR_A17_FICARAM_XV_2013 data set. The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
