PACKAGE DESCRIPTION: This dataset includes biological, chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from HAKUREI MARU in the North Pacific Ocean and Philippine Sea from 1999-08-04 to 1999-10-13. These data include CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-11 (CFC-11), CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-113 (CFC-113), CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-12 (CFC-12), Chlorophyll a, DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON (DIC), DISSOLVED ORGANIC CARBON, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NITRATE, NITRITE, Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY, SULFUR HEXAFLUORIDE (SF6), TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), WATER TEMPERATURE, nitrate + nitrite content (concentration), pH, phosphate and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, Coulometer for DIC measurement and bottle.
