PACKAGE DESCRIPTION: This dataset includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from PELAGIA in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2000-09-26 to 2000-10-16 and retrieved during cruise (64PE169) and 64PE20000926. These data include DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NITRATE, NITRITE, PHOSPHATE, Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY, SILICATE and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and bottle. These data were collected by K. Bakker of Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization and H.M. van Aken [affiliation unknown] as part of the CARINA/64PE20000926 (CAMP, CLIVARNET, WOCE A1E, AR7E) data set. The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
