Float Data

Floats, sometimes referred to as ocean profiling floats, are designed to drift at a fixed pressure and depth. This is a Google Maps presentation of oceanographic data stored in the Global Temperture and Salinity Profile Programme (GTSPP) database in the vicinity of the BP Deepwater oil spill.
