Source: Personnel with the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program at the
Scripps Institution of Oceanography made available to NCEI these data and
information files in one or more compressed tar files, which, also,
contained BagIt tag files. In addition, they provided NCEI with MD5
checksums for these data and information files.

Actions: After transferring the compressed tar file(s) and MD5 checksum file
for KM2413_615671_r2rnav, NCEI extracted these data and information files
from the compressed tar file(s) and then verified their integrity by
recalculating their MD5 checksums and comparing them against those in the
MD5 checksum file. After verifying the integrity of the data and information
files, NCEI discarded the compressed tar file(s).

Under this directory are files generated by NCEI with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0300879_lonlat.txt -
  Geographic coordinates showing where these data were collected (longitude
  in the left column and latitude in the right column, both in degrees).
  NCEI may have corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
  when generating this file. However, NCEI did not change the original data
  files under the directory data/0-data/.

0300879_map.jpg -
  Map showing sampling locations of these data.

0-email.txt -
  Official email sent to NCEI by the provider requesting the data license
  be corrected for one or more of the data packages in this accession from
  Creative Commons - Public Domain Mark 1.0 to CC0 1.0.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data files as submitted to NCEI.

Some sub-packages in 0-data contain supplemental BagIt files.
1. data/ - subdirectory contains the payload of actual data files
2. bag-info.txt - summary metadata for the dataset including submitter
     (R2R), date, bag size(#bytes), cruise ID#, fileset ID#, instrument
     type, etc
3. bagit.txt - lists version# of BagIt specification
4. file-info.txt - lists R2R file ID#, checksum, path, and size (#bytes)
     of each file in the data/ subdirectory
5. manifest-md5.txt - lists path and checksum of each file in the data/
     subdirectory
6. tagmanifest-md5.txt - lists path and checksum of each .txt file in
     the bag
