Hi all,

Thank you for noticing this anomaly in the dataset. This was likely due to instrumentation error that typically happens when the device is switched on, and not allowed to stabilize prior to data collection. I have removed the first 3 rows from the spreadsheet, as those were collected at the water surface when the device had not stabilized yet. Please find attached. Can you please include this file in place of the previous version?

Thank you for submitting "NOAA RESTORE Science Program: Protecting Texas Coastlines from Potential Oil Spills in Galveston Bay using unmanned aerial system (UAS) Surveys and Maps of a New Response Effectiveness Index: Field test measurements of near-surface currents in Galveston Bay and Freeport, Texas 2024-02-13 to 2024-02-15" (SIP: 0EJGCT) to NCEI.

I've just completed the initial appraisal for this dataset. The only item I wanted to clarify was in the CTD_Gal_ship_channel_20240214_Transect_1 spreadsheet. It looks like rows 3 and 4 of that spreadsheet have temperatures of 55°C. Could you please verify if those temperatures are correct?
