As we were getting ready to publish this accession (0282195, 2022 FL Benthic), we realized that there are a couple of potential copy and paste errors in the NCCOS Documentation File (NCRMP_FL2022_Benthic_DataDocumentation.pdf) similar to the one discussed earlier in this email thread, which should likely be corrected before publication. They include: 1. Data Set Information > Entity Attribute Overview: The text in the first part of this section appears to be referencing the fish datasets, instead of the benthic ones. 2. Access Information > Data Use Constraints: The "Cite as" statement in this section references the fish package, not the benthic package. 3. Extents > Extent Group 1 > Coordinates: The coordinates should be adjusted slightly to match the range found in the data. The Western Boundary should extend to -83.05628, the Northern Boundary should be 26.91339, and the Southern Boundary should be 24.44043 (though that is a small difference). I will adjust the coordinates on my end for the archive package metadata/landing page. 4. Dataset Title, and Extents > Extent Group 1 > Start Date: The earliest start date that I could find in the data is 2022-06-08, whereas in both of these sections it is listed as 2022-06-01. This date should be corrected in the PDF file, and I will correct it on my end in the Title and Start Date sections in the archive so that it appears correctly on the landing page and in the package metadata. If you could send me an updated NCRMP_FL2022_Benthic_DataDocumentation.pdf file with the changes mentioned for inclusion in the accession, it would be much appreciated! Thank you, Rebecca __________ From: Kimberly Edwards - NOAA Affiliate Date: Mon, Sep 18, 2023 at 1:25?PM Subject: Re: Title Change for S2N Submission 765HAL To: Rebecca Wenker - NOAA Affiliate Let me reply in line to make sure I cover each component: 1. Yes, this was incorrect and I have updated 2. Access Information > Data Use Constraints: The "Cite as" statement in this section references the fish package, not the benthic package. I will adjust the coordinates on my end for the archive package metadata/landing page. I have updated accordingly. Was the Eastern boundary listed correctly? 4. Yes, this was incorrect and I have updated. I looked at the station column and read 1 from there incorrectly. Thank you for your thoroughness! Here is an updated version. I will update this in my templates as well. Thank you for your patience since this was metadata I had to create for the first time for Florida. I also renamed this file as metadata.pdf to match with the final Fish document as well. I recall this was a change we had requested, so I want to be sure to remain consistent. I will work on the Fish document edits now. Thanks Kim
