Source: The data in this accession was shipped via hard drive to NCEI, and the metadata files were sent via email. 

Actions: Data were zipped on hard drives and mailed to NCEI. NCEI unzipped and transfered data to the NCEI server for 
data management access and organization. The data in this package is part of a larger data set collection including 
data from six MOCNESS stations from this cruise. Each accession in this collection contains a subset of the MOCNESS 
data that are split into nets 1 - 4 and nets 5 - 8 respectively to facilitate data download in more granular segments 
of this dataset. Station names containing a “D” were collected during the day and stations denoted with a “N” were 
collected at night.

This directory contains files created by NCEI staff, email correspondence,
and other 'negotiable' information between NCEI staff and the data provider.

0276959_lonlat.txt - 
  Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row contains the geographical
  position where these data were collected (longitude in the left column and
  latitude in the right column, both in degrees).  NCEI may have corrected 
  geographic positions that seemed to be in error when generating this file.  
  However, NCEI did not change the original data files under the directory 
  data/0-data/.
