Hello Peer, How are you? I hope all is well. I am getting back in touch with you with our contribution: Marble Point CLINO. Please see the attached. I hope this helps. Thanks to this effort goes to folks in my team who did all of the hard work to get this setup/working. Best regards from sunny and almost hot Geneva, Peer. ***************************** Dear Peer and Matthew, Thank you for this. We will incorporate Marble Point. Juli 2024 20:36 An: Friedrich Karsten Cc: Peer Hechler Betreff: Germany 1991-2020 Normals, Days with Precip >=1mm Dear Karsten, You kindly provided WMO Normals for Germany last year and we communicated a few times. I have an additional request if you don't mind. If it is not too much trouble, could you review Germany's submission of the second primary parameter - Number of Days with precipitation >=1mm ? We noticed when comparing the 1991-2020 Normals to the 1961-1990 Normals that there was a larger difference for stations in Germany that we expected. Then looking again at the map of the same parameter for the 1991-2020 Normals we noticed that this parameter for Germany appears to be noticeably greater than surrounding areas. I am attaching a few example Maps of the 1991-2020 Minus 1961-1990 Normals and also a couple of example Maps of the 1991-2020 Normals for this parameter. If you can confirm that this Parameter is correct as submitted I would appreciate it. And please excuse my question. Best regards, Jay *********************************************************************** Dear Jay, we have checked the supplied data. Unfortunately, we made a mistake. Instead of Number of Days with precipitation >=1mm we provide for Parameter 2 the Number of Days with precipitation >=.1mm. Parameter 2 and 16 were equal in our files. Attached you will find the correct data. Sorry for the mistake and for the trouble Best regards Karsten Friedrich ************************************ Deutscher Wetterdienst KU 21 Nationale Klimaüberwachung Frankfurter Straße 135 63067 Offenbach
