Source: Data were downloaded from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF)
Arctic Data Center (ADC) to NCEI using the NSF ADC dataset BagIt service.

Actions: Using an automated process, ADC data were downloaded to NCEI using
the NSF ADC dataset BagIt service. NCEI validated the BagIt package, read
metadata files, performed heuristic checks for completeness/adequacy, copied
the data and metadata files into the data/0-data/ directory of this accession,
updated discovery and access documentation, and created a browse graphic
representing the bounding box(es) of the locations where the data were
collected when possible. The BagIt tag files were discarded as artifacts of
the data transmission process.

about the data submission.

  These coordinates were extracted from the submitter bounding box(es) and are
  not actual sampling locations.

0280267_map.jpg -
  This map displays dots at the corners of the bounding box(es) within which
  the data were collected. Small bounding box(es) may appear to be represented
  as a single dot.
