Source: Twenty-one (21) archive package files (i.e., .tgz files) were made 
available for download and archive by Yeun-Ho Chong on behalf of Gustavo Goni, 
both of NOAA/OAR/AOML, via FTP.

Actions: The archive packages were copied to the 0-data/ directory and
uncompressed in place.  The archive package files were then removed from the 0-data
directory.  NetCDF versions of the files were then generated and added to the
1-data/ directory.

Files:
about/
This directory contains files created by NCEI staff, email correspondence,
and other 'negotiable' information between NCEI staff and the data provider.

0207827_lonlat.txt - 
  Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row contains the geographical
  position where these data were collected (longitude in the left column and
  latitude in the right column, both in degrees).  NCEI may have corrected 
  geographic positions that seemed to be in error when generating this file.  
  However, NCEI did not change the original data files under the directory 
  data/0-data/.

  Sample location map for these data.

0-email.txt - 
	E-mail from personnel notifying NCEI that their data were ready to be
	downloaded and archived.

1-email.txt -
	E-mail from personnel correcting information about the data posted for
	download.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the uncompressed data files as submitted to NCEI.

data/1-data/
This directory contain the NetCDF files that were converted from the original
format.
