Source: Wiley Evans (Hakai Institute, Canada) submitted these data to SOCAT and OCADS
on February 6, 2020.

Action(s): The original data and metadata files were sent to OCADS as ZIP file
of the data and metadata via SOCAT. All original data and metadata files were 
transferred to the directory of data/0-data/. NCEI personnel extracted 
the longitude and latitude data, and plotted a sampling station map. Both the 
generated longitude latitude file and the sampling station map were saved in the 
about/ directory.

about/
This directory contains files created by NCEI staff, email correspondence,
and other 'negotiable' information between NCEI staff and the data provider.

0209049_lonlat.txt - 
  Contains station locations for these data.  Each row contains the
  geographical position where these data were collected (longitude in the
  left column and latitude in the right column, both in decimal degrees).
  NCEI may have corrected or omitted geographic positions that seemed to be
  in error when generating this file.  However, NCEI did not change the
  original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0-email.txt - 
  E-mail from SOCAT with attached data and documentation.

This directory contains the data files as submitted to NCEI.

*.cav - original data files in CSV format sent by data providers to OCADS,

*.xls - original metadata report in xls format sent to OCADS by data providers.

*.pdf - original metadata report in pdf format sent to OCADS by data providers.

This directory contains the data files converted to CSV format by NCEI.

*.csv - Comma-separated-value (CSV) metadata report converted from xls format by NCEI
