Acquisition System (SEAS) are transmitted to NCEI's FTP server by AOML.

Actions:

An automated process transferred the original data files to the data/0-data/
directory of this accession. The automated process also extracted longitude
and latitude data from the data files and plotted a sample location map.

This directory contains files with ancillary information generated by NCEI
about this data set.

0208950_lonlat.txt -
  Station locations for these data.  Each row contains the geographical
  position of an XBT profile (longitude in the left column and latitude in
  the right column, both in degrees).

SEAS2000_format.txt -
  Description of the Shipboard Environmental Data Aquisition System (SEAS)
  file format.
