PE17-23_606870_r2rctd and PE17-23_608269_r2rnav from LDEO, NCEI extracted
these data and information files from the compressed tar file(s) and then
verified their integrity by recalculating their MD5 checksums and comparing
them against those from LDEO. If NCEI was able to verify the integrity of
the data and information files, they removed the compressed tar file(s).
