about/
This directory contains files created by NCEI-MD staff.

0093183_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row
                     contains the geographical position where these data were
                     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in
                     the right column, both in degrees).  NODC may have
                     corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
                     when generating this file.  However, NODC did not change
                     the original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

gocd_netcdf_format_description.pdf - Global ocean currents netCDF format
                     description.

qcscd_manual_v1.pdf - Global ocean currents data quality control manual. 

data/0-data/
This directory contains subdirectories with directory names beginning with a 
letter, 'a', followed by a seven-digit accession number, xxxxxxx, and an 
inventory file, 'gocd_inv.csv'.

gocd_inv.csv - Contains the URL and spatial and temporal ranges of each
               individual files.

data/0-data/<axxxxxxx>
This directory contains files processed by NCEI-MD into NCEI ocean currents 
netCDF standard format version "GOCD-2.0". Files are a processed representation 
of data files found in individual NCEI-MD accession, xxxxxxx.

data/0-data/<axxxxxxx>/plots
This directory contains location maps for these data.

data/0-data/<axxxxxxx>/info
This directory, if any, contains the quality control information of the data.
