From: Yeun-Ho Chong - NOAA Federal Date: Fri, Mar 9, 2018 at 12:49 PM Subject: Fwd: issues with metadata during the AX07 on Feb 2018 To: Christopher Paver Hi Chris, We found out that there were mistakes with AX7 Jan. 2018 cruise data in lloyds number fields. As you can read from Francis' email, the lloyds numbers were recorded wrong.  It is corrected now and a latest tarred & zipped file is available in AOML's ftp site for you to pick up. Thank you. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Francis Bringas - NOAA Federal Date: Thu, Mar 8, 2018 at 3:55 PM Subject: issues with metadata during the AX07 on Feb 2018 To: Yeun-Ho Chong Cc: Zachary Barton , "Caridad.I.Gonzalez" Hi Yeun-Ho, I just found some inconsistencies with the metadata in the profiles of the AX07 cruise completed in Feb 2018. For this cruise the call sign is incorrect for some test drops made before the beginning of the cruise (during the cruise setup) and the IMO Number is wrong for all profiles.    1) All profiles with call sign 2AKU3 were only test drops when the ship was in port. These should all be bad profiles and not part of the delayed mode QC profiles. I believe this is correct in your processing but you can double check.    2) For all other profiles the correct IMO or Lloyds Number is 9350381 I wonder if you could fix this in the files available for download in the XBT website for this cruise? Also would it be possible to let the GTSPP and NCEI people (Chris Paver) know of this error in the IMO Number so that they can correct this or send them new files? I will discuss with Ibis some changes in Amverseas to try to avoid these errors in the future. Thank you, Francis
