Information about the Vertes Data

General Information

• The first good Argos location has been assigned to the location of the profile.
• The surface drift data are included in the Float DAC files.
• Floats measuring salinity used a Seabird conductivity sensor.
• Information about the float is available in the pcode variables. These include the following. (See the codes list in the documents section.)
  CSC1 - the name of the originator of the data
  PDT$ - deployment date
  PTM$ - deployment time
