Information about the Freeland Data

General Information

• Information about the float is available in the pcode variables. These include the following. (See the codes list in the documents section.)
  CSC1 - the name of the originator of the data
  PPS$, PBS$, PP1$, PP2$ - various piston positions
  WMO$ - the WMO number
  PSP$ -surface pressure
  PIV$ - internal vacuum
  PB1$, PBV$ - battery information
  QCP$, QCF$ - QC tests performed and failed
  PFR$ - the WMO identifier from table 1770 and 4770 identifying among other things, the type of float and the profiling direction.
