The files with a and b suffixes in directories 275 and 286 are duplicate casts at the same station to retrieve more water for samples. The data were retained for backup purposes. One cast may be sufficient for characterization of water column properties. Unfortunately, I am unable to explain the files with the suffix (1).cnv. The PI was unable to find documentation to explain the difference. The technician in charge of the CTD data for this cruise has moved on and also has no recollection. Please contact me if you have any questions. Do you have the files that should go here, or know why the directory is empty? Directories 275 and 286 have files with a and b suffixes. Are these different casts? There are also files with the suffix (1).cnv. Are these the binned averages?
