"Airborne eXpendable BathyThermographs (AXBT) data from Ocean Surveys in the Gulf of Mexico during Hurricane Lili October 2002 (NCEI Accession 0159386)" Please let me know if you have any different suggestions? This dataset package does not include CTD or salinity data – it only contains water temperature and depth data.Unfortunately it also appears that the dataset temporal extent is incorrect. This dataset was submitted to GRIIDC before our comprehensive dataset package review process was in place. The time period in the metadata submitted to GRIIDC included the 2009 date; but upon review this dataset was collected in 2002 and the time period should be October 02 2002 to October 04 2002. My apologies for the errors in this submission. Thank you for your patience. Since Bibana is out right now, I am hoping you can answer a few questions about this data package. In this data package, I see 31 .s1 AXBT files with Depth and Temperature data and one Microsoft Word file with data documentation. In the S2N submission package, CTD and Salinity data are mentioned, but I am not seeing any of those data types in the files. Can you please confirm whether or not salinity and CTD data should or should not be included in this data package? If not, can I update the title, abstract, and keywords to remove Salinity and CTD from them so they are reflected as follows: Title: WATER TEMPERATURE and DEPTH measurements in Gulf of Mexico on 2009-01-01 Abstract: Airborne eXpendable BathyThermographs (AXBT) data from deployments during field operations to study Hurricane Lili. The data were used in model simulations for Uhlhorn and Shay (2013). Please let me know if you have any questions? Thank you, Lauren Lauren A.
