Real-time XBT data collected by the NOAA Shipboard Environmental Data
Acquisition System (SEAS) are transmitted to NCEI's FTP server by AOML.

Actions:

An automated process transferred the original data files to the data/0-data/
directory of this accession. The automated process also extracted longitude
and latitude data from the data files and plotted a sample location map.

The data files contained the Ship Name "E.R. France" (Call Sign "D5ES8")
which the NCEI was unable to find in the ICES Platform Code Database.

  Station locations for these data.  Each row contains the geographical
  position of an XBT profile (longitude in the left column and latitude in
  the right column, both in degrees).

  file format.
