Source:  These data were submitted by Abby Benson from USGS as a dump 'sql' file from the 
         Post Gres database of the all Marine Biogeographic Records available as of 2015-01-16.

Actions: These data were unzipped and copied to the 0-data directory of the accession. 
         The dump file was split in to 29 subsets (due to size of the original file)
         and converted in comma separated value format (csv) easily readable by Excel.
         A lon/lat file and map were generated based on extracted information from the data.

about/
This directory contains files created by NCEI staff, email correspondence,
and other 'negotiable' information between NCEI staff and the data provider.

0140482_lonlat.txt - 
  Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row contains the geographical
  position where these data were collected (longitude in the left column and
  latitude in the right column, both in degrees).  NCEI may have corrected 
  geographic positions that seemed to be in error when generating this file.  
  However, NCEI did not change the original data files under the directory 
  data/0-data/.

  Location map created by NCEI staff to support NCEI browse graphic
  management.

0-email.txt -
