Subject: NOAA Data Archiving Project using SIARD Suite 

Dr. Ohnesorge, I work for Dewberry and we are currently working on a Data Archiving 
project for NOAA. Donald Collins from NOAA gave us your name as a point of contact 
for SIARD Suite issues.  Ive used the SIARD Manual for basic operations but it does 
not help much with error using new from database  or siard file to database.  
SIARD Suite is new to our company; however, it is the application NOAA wants evaluated 
for archiving.

USGS today that the OBIS database 
PostgrSQL database ftp://ftpext.usgs.gov/pub/cr/co/denver/CSAS//OBISUSA-128/obisusa_schema_dump_Generated_MBG_Metadata_public_20150116.sql.gz
-	SAIRD cannot connect without the PostgreSQL ODBC driver which requires PostgreSQL application\ server

-	Is there a minimum requirement to make this type of transaction in SIARD?

If you know of any other resources for SIARD Suite I can use along with the SIARD Manual it would be helpful.
