Acquisition System (SEAS) are transmitted to NCEI's FTP server by AOML.

Actions:

An automated process transferred the original data files to the data/0-data/
directory of this accession. The automated process also extracted longitude
and latitude data from the data files and plotted a sample location map.

NCEI has determined that the name of the platform "R/V Alliance" as
documented in the data files is incorrect. The data files document the
platform name as "R/V Alliance" whilst NCEI has determined the correct
platform name is "NRV ALLIANCE".

about this data set.

0139264_lonlat.txt -
  Station locations for these data.  Each row contains the geographical
  position of an XBT profile (longitude in the left column and latitude in
  the right column, both in degrees).
