Each row contains the geographical position where these data were collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in the right column, both in degrees). NCEI may have corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error when generating this file. However, NCEI did not change the original data files under the directory data/0-data. 0137120_map.jpg - Station location map for these data based on the geographic positions in the 0137120_lonlat.txt file. F6X2HR-confirmation_email.txt - Email from the Send2NCEI web application to Mr. Frederick Bahr confirming that NCEI has created an archival information package. data/0-data/ This directory contains files in their original format as downloaded to NCEI. The following comments were provided by the data provider in regards to the formatting of the data files: "file of ts data contain arrays of microcat data (time (matlab datenum), pressure, temperature (deg C), conductivity (S/m), and Salinity (psu). tpod data have depth in file name and contain time (matlab datenum), and temperature (deg C). ADCP data files contain the arrays depth, tn (time, matlab datenum), un (eastward component of velocity (cm/s)), vn (northward component of velocity (cm/s)), pg4n (percentage good 4-beam solution), pg3n (percentage good 3-Beam solution), gn (automatic gain correction for all 4 beams), cmn (correlation magnitude for all 4 beams), en (error velocity (cm/s), and flags for velocity (fu, and fv). The flag format is 0=good, 1=bad, 3=missing 2=suspect." data/1-data/ This directory contains files that were converted by NCEI from their originally submitted format under the 0-data/ directory to an archival format. mcat*m#.csv - Comma-separated-value (CSV) files that NCEI converted from the MATLAB data files globec#_ts.mat in 0-data/. These CSV files contain date, time, pressure, temperature, conductivity, and salinity from the Seabird SBE-37IM MicroCAT sensor. The '*' refers to the depth level of the mooring. The '#' is which number globec file (e.g.,#=2 for globec2_ts.mat) was used. tpod*m#.csv - Comma-separated-value (CSV) files that NCEI converted from the MATLAB data file globec#_ts.mat in 0-data/.
