***************************************************************** Journal for accession number: 0119491 Created on: 2014-06-16 12:11:31 UTC By: Liqing Jiang, National Oceanographic Data Center Source: Kristene McTaggart, NOAA's Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory, submitted these data to NODC via email attachment in file "CC13_McTaggart.zip" on June 13, 2014. Action(s): The original data files were uncompressed and transferred to the directory of data/0-data/. NODC personnel extracted the longitude and latitude data, and plotted a sampling station map. Both the generated longitude latitude file and the sampling station map were saved in the directory of about/. Files: about/ This directory contains files created by NODC staff, and email correspondence with the data producer. 0-email.txt - Email from Kristene McTaggart, PMEL, notifying NODC that the CC13 (Coastal Carbon 2013), legs 1 and 2 (referred to as CC113 and CC213) CTD data are being submitted via email attachment. 1-email.txt - Email from Kristene McTaggart, PMEL, informing NODC that she wants to update the two pdf files (cc113.pdf and cc213.pdf). 0119491_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data. Each row contains the geographical position where these data were collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in the right column, both in degrees). NODC may have corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error when generating this file. However, NODC did not change the original data files under the directory data/0-data/. 0119491_map.jpg - Sample location map generated from listing of longitude and latitude coordinates in 0119491_lonlat.txt. 0119491_EDDF(1).pdf, and 0119491_EDDF(2).pdf - Copies of the data producer's Electronic Data Documentation Form (EDDF) file, also available as data/0-data/[originalFileName], created by NODC to ensure that this descriptive metadata file has a standard name and is in a standard directory. data/0-data/ This directory contains the data files as submitted to NODC. Please note that the CTD data files are in ASCII format only (the submitter confirmed that no netCDF files were submitted).
