subject: NOS-MOA-2011-80 (Annex #1) - Data Submission #4 to Accession 0093399

Hello,

This email is notification of a data submission for accession number 0093399. New data, revised data, and a copy of previously 
submitted data have been included in this submittal. This data delivery contains all data submitted thus far under Annex 1 to the 
original data sharing agreement between NOAA and ConocoPhillips, Shell, and Statoil in an effort keep all current versions of data 
in the most recent version of the accession 009339 archive file. Please see file Accession_0093399.zip, which has been uploaded to 
the NODC FTP server at ftp://ftp.nodc.noaa.gov/pub/incoming/.

Attached is a CSV file that contains the name of all the files that have been uploaded in Accession_0093399.zip. The CSV file 
(20140414_Accession_0093399_ListOfFiles.csv) contains three columns of information and one record for each of the 307 files 
transferred through this submittal. Below is an explanation of the fields in the CSV file and brief synopsis regarding the data 
submitted.

DATA TYPE

This submittal contains four broad categories of data: ice tracking drifter, met buoy, upward looking sonar, and vessel 
meteorological data.

1. Ice Tracking Drifter - Ocean current data and metadata from the Chukchi and Beaufort Seas

2. Met Buoy  Meteorological buoy data and metadata from the Chukchi and Beaufort Seas

3. Upward Looking Sonar Moored acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP), ice profiling sonar (IPS), and acoustic wave and current 
meter (AWAC) data and metadata from the Chukchi and Beaufort Seas.

4. Vessel Met  Vessel mounted ADCP and conductivity temperature depth (CTD) cast data from the Chukchi Sea.

FILE

This field within the CSV contains either the data or metadata file name, or the file name in addition to the folder name that the 
file has been placed in. At the request of the data owners, the moored ADCP and IPS file names were not changed for this data 
sharing effort. Instead, the files have been placed in folders with descriptive names that include the data owner, the type of 
data, the data location or location reference, and the year(s) the data was collected.

DATA / METADATA

This field indicates whether the file name listed is a data set or metadata file.
