Hello,

I have submitted two datasets each along with an EDDF2 form, to NODC by ftp.

They were both collected from a passenger ferry. One is water velocity profiles
and the other is near-surface water properties.

Attached here are two technical reports that give detailed descriptions of the
data including the instrumentation used to collect them and the format and 
contents of the various ASCII files. On some sections of the EDDF2 form I refer
to these technical reports, instead of providing detailed explanations.

The data are also posted online here:

At that page, for the ASCII velocities scroll down and click on:
FOSTERLIS_vel_asc_Dec2012.zip (about 16 megs; ASCII format)
and for the ASCII water properties scroll down a bit farther and click on:
FOSTERLIS_swp_asc_May2012.zip (about 2.6 megs; ASCII format)

When your review them let me know what additional steps will need to be taken.
