Source: Eleven zipped data files were downloaded from AOML's ftp site at
ftp.aoml.noaa.gov/phod/pub/nodc/melanie at the request of Yeun-Ho Chong on
behalf of Molly Baringer.

Actions: These files were copied to the 0-data directory of the accession,
wherein they were unzipped in place.  The zip files were then removed from the
accession leaving the zipped files contents.  Each data file was converted to
a NetCDF file and placed in 1-data. 

Version 2.2
The data provider made available an update to some of the existing data.
These data were downloaded and copied into data/0-data, replacing existing
files.  NetCDF files were regenerated and placed in 1-data/ for the updates.

about/
This directory contains files created by NODC staff, email correspondence,
and other 'negotiable' information between NODC staff and the data provider.

0109235_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row
                     contains the geographical position where these data were
                     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in
                     the right column, both in degrees).  NODC may have
                     corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
                     when generating this file.  However, NODC did not change
                     the original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

0109235_map.jpg - Sample location map for these data.

0-email.txt - E-mail from personnel notifying NODC that they would like their
              data archived.

1-email.txt - E-mail correspondence between the archive and the submitter
              about the submission of the updated files.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data files as submitted to NODC.

data/1-data/
This directory contains files that were converted by NODC from their
originally submitted format under the 0-data/ directory to an archival
format.
