Notes for CTD processing problems/issues

Shallow CTD data
1. For cruise HA1201, all legs: There was no voltage readings and therefore no data for oxygen and transmissometer sensors.
2. The script processCTD will not work on files with names that are longer than 15 characters.

Shipboard CTD data
1. For cruise HA1201_LEGI_001.hex: the file was processed through Loop Edit but would not save out after processing through the derive step. (All other casts were completed)
2. For HI1001_LEGI, casts: 30-45; there is no volt 2/fluorescence data or volt 3/turbidity data.
3. For HI1001_LEGII there is no .hex file for cast number 140; however, it is listed on the pdf field data sheet within the folder for this cruise.
4. Cruises HA1201_allLegs, HA1101_allLegs, HA1007, HA1008, and HI1001_LEGI were processed with the voltage for the fluorescence sensor set to 2 seconds for AlignCTD so may want to reprocess and change to zero seconds.
5. For HI0701, there was no data for the second cast. Also for the first 3 casts for this cruise, the station names are wrong. Cast 1 says N Big Island but its actually S Oahu and casts 2 & 3 say S Oahu when they are Wake Island along with the rest of the casts.
6. For HI0604, fluorescence data is negative and Frank also sent in an e-mail that the fluorometer sensor was mostly useless on early cruises so processed without the fluorometer.
7. For HI0604, casts 1&2 have errors but casts 3-30 are ok.
8. For HI0601, I was not able to process the data. After the first data conversion step when looking at the data it is full of errors for all parameters.
9. Couldn’t find data for TC0201LEGI, there should be 10 casts because TC0201legII starts at cast #11
10. For TC9905, it took two tries for casts# 45 and 49, 45 and 49a are the good casts. 
11. Under NWHI, for OES0704 there is no data and could not find on v-drive either.
12. For HI0505, HI0611, and HI0701 there is no raw data on the v-drive but there is on the w-drive.
