I was able to copy it to your ftp site. Pat_ShipboardCTD2.zip is the correct one which I'm sure you would have realized since the other one is empty. Let me know if I can help. Happy Holidays! Yes, would love to receive all you have. I've already received CTD data from CRED in the past which are posted at: http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/OAS/prd/accession/details/38588 http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/OAS/prd/accession/details/52123 http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/OAS/prd/accession/details/36670 http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/OAS/prd/accession/details/39382 (this one has 1.1 and 2.2, latter is replacement) For any of these, you can click "archive" then you'll see a directory tree. If there is directory 1.1, then chose that one. If there is a directory 1.1 and a directory 2.2 (like 39382), then 2.2 is replacement for 1.1. When you go to 1.1 or 2.2, then information about the set is in directory /about. The file simple_metadata.txt is the one that is easy for humans to read. The xml files are same info, but targets for computers to search. These can give you an idea of what was done in the past. The main points are: 1. any well-described format is fine 2. please clarify if files are "raw" or "processed, calibrated, ie, science-ready". Likely I can find data reports online at http://www.pifsc.noaa.gov/library/cruise.php, so I can build the metadata. Once ready, you can place files in my incoming ftp area: ftp://kia.soest.hawaii.edu/incoming/caldwell/ then pop me an email. mega thanks, let me know if I can be of service to you. I have finished processing all shipboard CTD data and Jamie informed me to contact you as you make this data available to the public for them. I processed data for recent cruises and also for cruises as far back as 1999. Do you want everything I've processed? How would you like me to get you this data? Thanks and Happy Holidays, Abby
