Center (CDIAC) Global Volunteer Observing Ship (VOS) Program web service at
http://cdiac.ornl.gov/ftp/oceans/PACIFICA/49HO19920620, and accompanying metadata were downloaded from
http://mercury.ornl.gov/metadata/ocean/xml/, in accordance with the archival
submission agreement between NODC and CDIAC.

Action(s):

The original data and metadata files were transferred to NODC by an
automated process. Another automated process then transferred the original
data files to the data/0-data/ directory of this accession. The automated
process also extracted the longitude and latitude data from those data
files and plotted a sample location map.

This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0112233_lonlat.txt -
  Contains station locations for these data.  Each row contains the
  geographical position where these data were collected (longitude in the
  left column and latitude in the right column, both in decimal degrees).
  NODC may have corrected or omitted geographic positions that seemed to be
  in error when generating this file.  However, NODC did not change the
  original data files under the directory data/0-data/.
