Source: Underway data from the NOAA Ship HENRY B. BIGELOW sent by personnel of
        the NOAA Office of Marine and Aviation Operations to NODC via FTP in
	the files bigelow_20130305_20130405.zip, bigelow_20130426_20130509.zip and 
	HB_Bigelow_20130305_20130509.NODC.form.pdf.

Actions: All the files were copied to the data/0-data/ directory. The zip files 
	 were unziped and then removed. Within each zip package were other zip
	 packages which were unzipped and then removed. Each zip package was
	 unzipped to a directory corresponding to the name of the zip file itself.

	 The zip package
	 bigelow_20130305_20130405/HB1301_Leg2/HB1301_Fluorometer_Leg2.zip was
	 removed due to it being an exact duplicate of the zip package
	 bigelow_20130305_20130405/HB1301_Fluorometer_Leg2.zip. Both packages
	 were unzipped and each of the individual files md5 checksum was 
	 calculated to verify each file was an exact duplicate. The package
	 bigelow_20130305_20130405/HB1301_Fluorometer_Leg2.zip was then
	 unzipped and removed.

	 The zip package
         bigelow_20130305_20130405/HB1301_Leg1/EventData/PCO2/pCO2_Leg1 was
         removed due to it being an exact duplicate of the zip package
         bigelow_20130305_20130405/HB1301_Leg1/EventData/PCO2PCO2_Leg1.zip. 
	 Both packages were unzipped and each of the individual files md5 
	 checksums were calculated to verify each file was an exact 
	 duplicate. The package 
	 bigelow_20130305_20130405/HB1301_Leg1/EventData/PCO2PCO2_Leg1.zip 
	 was then unzipped and removed.

about/
This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0106738_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data.  Each row
                     contains the geographical position where these data were
                     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in
		     the right column, both in degrees).  NODC may have 
		     corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in
		     error when generating this file.  However, NODC did not 
		     change the original data files under the directory 
		     data/0-data/.

0106738_map.jpg - Sample location map for these data.

0-email.txt - E-mail from personnel aboard the NOAA ship confirming the files
	      submitted to NODC via FTP.

NSSDAC_file_naming_and_format_v2.pdf - Description of the naming conventions
                                       and formats for the data files under
				       the directory data/0-data/.

0106738_ddf.pdf - Copy of the Data Documentation Form submitted by the data
                  provider in NODC standard file name convention.
