To: Thomas Ryan - NOAA Federal Cc: Jing Zhou - NOAA Affiliate , Frank Lodato - NOAA Federal , Bill Smith - NOAA Affiliate Tom, I have had a chance to look into this a bit more. As I mentioned, the ID 41A48 is associated with an old 10-meter hull that once was the primary hull at 41048. When the new 3-meter was deployed, the 10 meter was left on station in standby mode. It was activated for release for a short time last month when Iridium went down. As it turned out, Iridium was restored before 41A48 was released as 41048. Since it will continue to be in standby mode, 41A48 should not be considered as a valid station. If the 3-meter fails, it will be brought on line, assuming it is still able to report valid data, and released and archived as 41048. For the October archive, please disregard 41A48. Rex
