I've named the folders by the area, but this name would of course be replaced with NODC accession numbers. So there will be 20 new accession records, each for an area&date, in keeping with the structure used previously. For the metadata files in the About folders, I assigned dummy serial accession numbers just to keep things straight - xyz1 to xyz20. Those will have to be updated, as will the Publication date (entered as 201207XX). The dummy accession numbers also appear inside the metadata file in fields like the title and elsewhere. I've already cross referenced these new data to prior NODC accession records for the same site in each appropriate metadata file. In four cases (Boca Grande for instance), there are two data files within the 0-data folder, distinguished by the dates in the file name. Because of changes in some operating procedures (detailed in the relevant metadata file), I've kept data files separate when these changes were implemented. Please call me if you have any questions.
