The Sonde data have been through what I would call a Level 1 QC check. 

1.	All data reported were captured after the surface water equilibration was complete and before the instrument was taken out of the water.
(in other words, all extraneous data were expunged from the original raw data).
2.	The temperature and salinity data from the UT and FIT instruments were checked (successfully) for internal consistency (in other words, the two data sets agree relatively well).
3.	Some spurious electronic glitches in the UT data were deleted.
