Source: The NOAA/NODC National Coastal Data Development Center (NCDDC)
        assembled these data collected during the Galapagos: Where Ridge
	Meets Hotspot 2005 expedition, which the NOAA Office of Ocean 
	Exploration and Research sponsored and submitted them via DVD to 
	the NOAA/NODC Marine Data Stewardship Division (MDSD) for archiving.

Files:

about/
This directory contains files created by NODC staff, email correspondence,
and other 'negotiable' information between NODC staff and the data provider.

0056845_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data. Each row
		     contains the geographical position where these data were
		     collected (longitude in the left column and latitude in 
		     the right column, both in degrees). NODC may have
		     corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error
		     when generating this file. However, NODC did not change
		     the original data files under the directory data/0-data.

about/metadata/
This directory contains FGDC standard metadata records created by NCDDC in XML
format.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data and information files as submitted to NODC.

data/0-data/vessel/
This directory contains all the data and information files that were collected
on the R/V Thomas G. Thompson, and includes Ship Navigation Data (gps, gyro) and
Ship Sensor Raw Data (SCS - das) (Profile Data - adcp and ctd).
