Source: The NOAA/NODC National Coastal Data Development Center (NCDDC) assembled
        these data collected during the "Davidson Seamount: Exploring Ancient
        Coral Gardens 2006" expedition, which the NOAA Office of Ocean
        Exploration and Research sponsored, incorporated with Monterey Bay 
        Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) & Monterey Bay National Marine 
        Sanctuary (NOAA), and submitted them on DVD to the NOAA/NODC Marine 
        Data Stewardship Division (MDSD) for archiving.

Files:

about/
This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0052881_lonlat.txt - Station locations for these data.  Each row contains the
                     geographical position for a station (longitude in the
                     left column and latitude in the right column, both in
                     degrees).

0052881_map.jpg - Station location map for these data.

0-email.txt - E-mails from NCDDC notifying MDSD that they had sent the data 
              on DVD and from MDSD acknowledging receipt of the data.

Davidson_Seamount_image_release.pdf - Agreement between Monterey Bay National Marine
                                      Sanctuary and NOAA's Office of Ocean Exploration
                                      acknowledging permission to make digital photographs
                                      taken from the Davidson Seamount in January 2006,
                                      available to the public for non-commercial use.

This directory contains FGDC standard metadata records created by NCDDC in
XML format.

This directory contains the data and information files as summitted to MDSD.
